Stress Free Productivity

Welcome back to the Next Level Challenge!  This week our theme is Stress Free Productivity.

That’s right – this week I’ll share with you tips and strategies for getting things done in the least amount of time and the least amount of hassle. The information that I’ll share with you this week comes from Brian Tracey’s book - Eat That Frog: 21 Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get Things Done In Less Time.

The premise of Eat That Frog come from Mark Twain who once said, “If you eat a live frog first thing each morning, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that it’s probably the worst thing you’ll do all day.”

Brian Tracey uses Mark Twain’s “eat that frog” metaphor to stress the importance of tackling the most challenging tasks of the day first.  Do that thing that you are most likely to procrastinate on early in the day.

This strategy has two advantages:

 (1) you ease your mind of the burden of the looming task you’re putting off; and

 (2) the tasks you are putting off most likely will have the greatest impact on what you can accomplish the rest of the day.

Think About This…

What “frog” do you need to eat today?

 A Call To Action:

Tackle your most challenging task today.

Until the next time we meet, I’m wishing you lots of passion, purpose, profits and PRODUCTIVITY!
